Answers about applying, building your campaign, and reading your numbers.
About partnering with Yonder
What is the Yonder partner platform?
It's where you manage your side of a Yonder partnership: build and edit your campaign, see how it looks to members, and track your campaign numbers. Access is by application.
What do Yonder members see?
Your campaign appears in the Yonder app as an experience. Members browse experiences, spend with you on their Yonder card, then choose in the app whether to earn points on that transaction or redeem points against it.
How do members earn and redeem points at my brand?
Two rates sit behind every campaign:
- Earn: points per £1 spent
- Redeem: the points a member spends to get a set amount off, with a fair-use limit per member plan
Your own rates are agreed with your partnerships manager, speak to them for different models.
Applying and getting access
How do I apply?
Fill in the two-step form at Apply to join. Step one is about your brand: who you are, what you sell, and how to reach you. Step two is your legal entity. It takes a few minutes, and the form tells you what's required as you go.
Why do you need my legal entity and registered address?
That's the entity Yonder contracts with and invoices. It's often different from the name you trade under, so we ask for both.
What happens after I apply?
Our partnerships team reviews the details you sent. We typically reply within three working days, by email to the address on your application.
How do I sign in? I never set a password.
There are no passwords. Enter your email at Sign in and we send you a six-digit code. Enter the code and you're in. Codes work once and expire quickly, so if yours has stopped working, request another.
I'm not getting the sign-in code.
Check spam, and check you're using the exact email on your application. The code only goes to a registered partner user. If it still doesn't arrive, email partnerships@yonder.com.
Can my colleagues get access?
Yes, but not self-serve yet. Email partnerships@yonder.com with their name, email and role, and we'll add them. They'll get an invite by email and sign in with the same six-digit code flow.
Your campaign
What's on the Campaign page?
A preview of your experience exactly as a Yonder member sees it, shown inside a phone frame. Three views:
- Detail: the full experience screen, as it looks while your campaign is live
- Coming Soon: the treatment members see before a campaign starts. Always shown as if the campaign hasn't started, so you can check it whenever. Points aren't usable during coming soon.
- Tile: the single card that represents your experience in the app's experiences list alongside our other experiences
Above the preview you'll see your live dates and, when it applies, a green Live pill.
How do I create my campaign, and update it later?
You build it yourself. On the Campaign page, press Edit campaign, supply your brand assets and details, then submit it for review. A Yonder manager checks it and publishes it.
Once it's live, the same Edit campaign button reopens the form with your current details already in it. Changes go through the same review step before they reach members, so your live campaign stays untouched until the new version is approved.
What do I need to create a campaign?
| Field | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Logo | PNG, up to 200KB |
| Hero image | JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 2MB |
| Lifestyle images | 1 to 5 images, JPEG/PNG/WebP, up to 2MB each |
| Product images | At least one, JPEG/PNG/WebP, up to 2MB each |
| Trackable link | The URL members tap from your campaign's call to action. Must start with https:// or http:// |
| Rough location | Free text, e.g. "Shoreditch, London" or "Online" |
| Anything else | Optional notes. Only your Yonder manager sees these |
The logo has to be a PNG. That's a hard requirement of the system your campaign is published into, so a JPEG or SVG will be rejected.
What happens when I submit?
Your draft goes to a Yonder manager for review and the form becomes read-only while they look at it. From there:
- Approved: your manager publishes it and it appears in the member preview
- Sent back: the form unlocks with your manager's comment at the top explaining what to change. Edit and resubmit
You can't edit a draft while it's awaiting review. If you need to pull something back, email partnerships@yonder.com.
How are my earn and redeem rates set?
They're agreed with your partnerships manager as part of your campaign, along with any boost, so they aren't part of the form you fill in.
The Campaign page shows the rates members see. If those figures don't match what you agreed, or you want to change them, email partnerships@yonder.com.
Can I change my live dates?
Live dates are agreed with your partnerships manager and set by Yonder, not in the form. Email partnerships@yonder.com to move them.
Going live
When does my campaign go live?
On the dates you agree with your partnerships manager. Once your campaign is approved and that start date arrives, it's visible to members. Before then, members see the Coming Soon treatment.
If your agreed start date has passed and you still don't see the Live pill, email partnerships@yonder.com.
What's the Live pill?
A green marker next to your live dates confirming your campaign is currently visible to members. No pill means it isn't yet, either because your start date hasn't arrived or because Yonder hasn't finished its final checks.
Analytics
What am I looking at?
Member spend on your experience, for one campaign, over the dates you choose. Five figures:
| Metric | What it means |
|---|---|
| Total member spend | Total member spend on your experience over the selected dates. |
| Unique members | How many different members made at least one transaction in this period. Anyone who changed plan mid-period is counted in both Full and Free, so those two can add up to more than this number. |
| Avg spend per transaction | Total member spend divided by the number of transactions - a quick read on typical basket size. |
| Visits per member | Transactions divided by unique members - roughly how often each member came back in this period. |
| Transactions | Number of transactions in the selected dates. |
A member who made several transactions in the period counts once towards unique members, so visits per member is the figure that shows how often people came back during your campaign.
How often does it update?
Midnight, daily.
Why don't the figures match my own till or ecommerce reports?
They won't match exactly, and they're not meant to. These figures are directional: they count spend Yonder has matched to your experience, at the point we last refreshed. Your finance invoice comes from a separate reconciliation against the ledger, so the final numbers can differ slightly. We're working to bring this to the platform.
For anything invoice-related, go by the invoice, not this page.
What are Full and Free?
The two Yonder membership plans. Every figure splits by plan so you can see which members are driving spend.
One thing to watch: a member who changed plan partway through the period is counted in both Full and Free. So the two can add up to more than the unique members total. That's expected, not a bug.
It says no transactions in this period.
Either there genuinely weren't any in that window, or the window is too narrow. Widen the date range or change the grouping. A campaign that's just gone live will show nothing until its first matched transaction.
Can I export the data?
Not yet. If you need a copy, email partnerships@yonder.com.
Can I see individual members or transactions?
No. Analytics are aggregate only. We don't share personal data about Yonder members with partners.
Commercial and invoicing
What does a Yonder partnership cost?
Commercial terms are agreed with your partnerships manager and set out in your agreement with us, alongside our Terms & Conditions. They're not shown in the platform. Email partnerships@yonder.com for a copy of yours or to discuss them.
How and when am I invoiced?
Invoices come from Yonder's finance team to the legal entity on your account, which is the registered name and address shown on your Account page. The figures on your invoice are reconciled against our ledger, so they may differ slightly from the directional figures on Analytics.
For invoice timing, amounts or a copy of an invoice, email partnerships@yonder.com.
The Analytics total doesn't match my invoice.
Expected. Analytics is a daily, directional view; the invoice is the reconciled one. If the gap looks larger than a rounding difference, send us both figures at partnerships@yonder.com and we'll check.
Where are my terms?
Linked in the footer of every page as Terms & Conditions, and referenced on your Account page. Together with the details you gave us when you applied, they form your agreement with Yonder.
Your account and support
How do I update my business or contact details?
Email partnerships@yonder.com. The Account page is read-only for now. It shows the details you gave us when you applied, and we make changes for you.
How do I get help?
Email partnerships@yonder.com for anything: access, campaign changes, analytics questions, invoices. If you know your partnerships manager, you can go direct to them.
